Village Pointe was Omaha's first & only open air mall when it had its grand opening in Spring 2004. At the time, Village Pointe led the way in the shift from closed air to open air malls and was another landmark development project headed by Quantum. Village Pointe was a cooperative project between Quantum & RED Development, and the adjacent Village Pointe East was a Quantum project.
